Have you heard of people who clean before a cleaning person comes to their home? Have you done that yourself? It might seem counter-intuitive, but in those cases, perhaps tidying up allows a cleaning person to really give a home a deep clean rather than dealing with the daily clutter! It makes sense.
In my case though- I wanna see the daily clutter! I want to see you in your "natural habitat". I can best serve you by understanding what REAL LIFE is like in those problem areas.

When we have a sense of what your needs and space limitations are, we come up with a personalized, step-by-step plan detailing what we are going to do and how we are going to do it. This includes determining how much of a role you want to play in the process.
I can work with you or your family "side-by-side" or on my own according to a plan that we develop together. This part of the process usually takes up the bulk of the work.

set up systems
Once everything that no longer belongs is out of the space, we create systems customized to your preferences and find homes for your things. If we are working in multiple rooms, this process can be modified to be more efficient. We can re-purpose the containers and organizing tools you might already own, but if there is something else that would work better, I will take measurements, recommend what you need, purchase it for you, or leave you with a shopping list. That is up to you.

Finally, when everything is in its place, we talk about maintenance. This is a very important part of the process. Throughout the entire process, I will give you tips and techniques, specifically for your space and habits, which you can use to maintain the order long term. And, of course, I am only a phone call away for reminders!
